Edinburgh Airport’s newest carrier – a marketing campaign created for Edinburgh Airport to encourage passengers to shop at the airport as they can also take a bag of shopping on-board their flight along with their hand luggage. The campaign ran across various media within and beyond the airport, including indoor and outdoor poster sites, newspapers, print and online.

Due to the success of the original ‘Newest Carrier’ campaign, a bespoke, stand alone brand was also created to continue the message ‘take both bags on-board – guaranteed’. This distinctive brand is highly visible within the airport, running throughout the year on most airport marketing channels.

Above are just some examples of a wide-ranging Christmas retail campaign created for Edinburgh Airport. This campaign was featured predominantly within the terminal – on posters and on the airport’s website. A Christmas gift catalogue was also created which ran in tandem with the successful marketing campaign.

To highlight the financial benefits of shopping at the airport compared to the high street, a series of bold, eye-catching destination-themed posters were created for Edinburgh Airport. Each poster played on the link between the product name and a familiar world-wide destination.
